CalendarBell Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
CalendarBell (the "App") respects your privacy and limits the information it handles to what is necessary to provide the App. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in the App.
The App is provided by a service provider residing in Japan. This Privacy Policy is prepared on the basis of Japanese law, including Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the Japanese version of this Privacy Policy and any translation, the Japanese version will prevail.
1. Information We Handle
The App may access and store the following information on your device with your permission.
1.1 Calendar information
If you grant calendar access, the App reads calendars and events on your device through EventKit. This may include event identifiers, titles, start times, end times, all-day status, calendar names, calendar identifiers, and calendar colors.
This information is used to provide App features such as event display, alarm creation, automatic alarm registration, excluded-event management, and Live Activity display.
As of the v1 release, the App is not designed to send calendar event titles, event times, or calendar contents to the service provider's server.
1.2 Alarms, settings, and in-app data
The App stores alarms created or configured by you, links between events and alarms, excluded events, per-calendar settings, notification settings, Live Activity settings, onboarding completion state, and similar data in local storage on your device.
This information is used to provide, display, synchronize, restore, and maintain App features and settings.
1.3 Purchase and subscription information
The App uses Apple's StoreKit and RevenueCat to process in-app purchases and confirm Pro entitlement status.
RevenueCat may receive information such as an anonymous app user ID, purchase, restore, and subscription status, product IDs, receipts or purchase tokens, and technical information about the device or OS. This information is used to process purchases, confirm subscription status, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and operate billing features.
Payments are processed by Apple. The service provider does not receive your credit card number or other payment method details.
1.4 Support inquiries
If you contact us by email or another method, we may receive the information you provide, such as your email address, inquiry details, device, OS, and App version. This information is used for support, identity confirmation, investigation, and quality improvement.
1.5 Website access information
The App's support page, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and related web pages are expected to be published using Cloudflare Pages. Depending on Cloudflare's services, information such as IP address, browser, access time, and referrer may be recorded in access logs. This information is used to provide the website, maintain security, and investigate issues.
2. Purposes of Use

- displaying calendar events;
- creating, managing, updating, and deleting alarms related to events;
- automatic alarm registration, excluded-event management, and settings storage;
- providing notifications, AlarmKit, Live Activities, App Intents, and related features;

If crash reporting, usage analytics, advertising, or external server integrations are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy, App Store Connect App Privacy answers, and in-app explanations will be updated before introduction, and user consent will be obtained where required.
